When is my course running and what are the deadlines to be aware of?

The course runs Monday 28th – Thursday 31st October.

The course will close on Wednesday6th November, after this date you won’t have access to the course, content or certificate.

You will be able to access the platform before the course launches and you will need to reset your password as soon as you login.

What if I have any questions?

During the course you can use the messaging facility on the course platform. This is on the top right saying messages and then click go to inbox and send messages, select Virgin Media O2 Virtual Work Experience Instructor as recipient. Before the course starts please email studentrecruitment@etrust.org.uk, please be aware the inbox on the platform and the email are covered Monday – Friday 9am-4pm so will only be replied to within these times.

What is the mode of study?

Virtual work experience delivered via zoom consisting of a mixture of Live, Pre-recorded & independent sessions.

What is the duration of the course?

Around 20 hours of study to be completed during the course dates 28th – 31st.

How will I receive my log in details?

The student login details will be sent to the email address you provided on Wednesday 23rd October.  

The course has started but I haven’t received my login details. What now?

A few days prior to the course start date, we recommend keeping an eye on your email account (the email will be sent via an automated system) and once you receive the email you will be able to login – we advise you login within 24hours and change your password. Please add noreply@talentlms.com to your email contact list to try and avoid it being directed to your junk/spam folders. If you can’t find your login details on your junk/spam folder, please contact studentrecruitment@etrust.org.uk, please be aware the email is coveredMonday – Friday 9am-4pm so will only be replied to within these times.

I’m having problems with initial login.

It probably is an incorrect email address, please contact studentrecruitment@etrust.org.uk and they will let you know what your login details are for the platform, please be aware the email is covered Monday – Friday 9am-4pm so will only be replied to within these times.

Course Content

Compulsory modules/sessions - what does this mean?

All content (other than optional) must be completed to complete the course. Your progress may not show as 100% as there are some optional content. If you do not want to advance your knowledge with optional content, you can move forward however you will need to complete all the compulsory modules to complete the course.

How will I know which modules and sessions are compulsory?

All sessions planned in your timetable are compulsory. The live sessions will provide you with an opportunity to ask any questions you might have to the Virgin Media O2 team. The pre-recorded and independent sessions have been designed to support you with completion of your project. At the end of each day there is optional content that you choose to advance your knowledge by completing or you can choose to move forward.

Live Sessions

Where can I review my progress on the course?

You can see on each module how much you have completed with a green tick to show what you have completed but as mentioned please ignore the % on the top right-hand side due to some modules might be non-compulsory.

How many live sessions do I have to attend?

Please note that the live sessions will be on Zoom. You do not need a Zoom account to access them. Each session can be accessed via the link on the Talent LMS platform.

You need to attend all live sessions – if you cannot attend one for a reason, please contact studentrecruitment@etrust.org.uk and let them know why. Please be aware the email is covered Monday – Friday 9am-4pm so will only be replied to within these times.

Mast Project Submission

There are two tasks you need to complete for the course in which you need to submit photos of your masts.

You can only upload one file so if you have more than one photo please add them to a word document or similar to submit together.

Project Submission

Please submit your project by the project submission upload on thecourse.

You can only upload one document so make sure all are combined into one document. You can only submit once so make sure you are selecting the correct document.

Please don't include your name on the document.

Certificate

How do I download my certificate/ Where can I find my certificate?

Once all the compulsory modules have been completed yourcertificate will be available to download. This will pop up on the screen butcan also be found in the my certificates section.
