Industrial Cadets: Bronze & Silver Work Experience

Bronze and Silver Virtual Work Experience programmes collaborate with leading STEM companies across the UK for students aged 14 to 18. These bespoke programmes provide young people with the opportunity to experience industry and understand how to apply for early careers opportunities including apprenticeships, internships, and graduate programmes.

The programme features live sessions with STEM professionals across the business including interactive Q&As, engaging activities and problem-solving on real life industry projects. We’ve previously hosted work experience from a range of STEM companies including Airbus, Avantor, GSK, Mott MacDonald and Virgin Media O2.

These opportunities are available for alumni from other EDT programmes.

At the end of the placement, students graduate as Platinum-level Industrial Cadets, a nationally recognised award that students can use as evidence of their experience and take forward to complement their future applications and career journeys.
