“Back in 2003, I completed a Year in Industry placement as a gap year before going on to university. At the time I found it both enjoyable as well as a real boost to my confidence, my studies and my CV. More than 20 years on I am still with the same company, now part of the management team and still a big supporter of the Year in Industry scheme!”

"The placement has been such a valuable way to develop technical knowledge and practical experience by collaborating with industry professionals on real-world applications – I would highly recommend this scheme to anyone!"
