This collaboration brings together prominent organisations to elevate industry standards, foster talent development, and drive positive community impact through groundbreaking initiatives.
The partnership, which has been developed with The 5% Club and The Careers & Enterprise Company aims to recognise employers committed to excellence, innovation, social responsibility and long-term investment in talent.
Royal Air Force Charitable Trust
Our partnership with the RAF Charitable Trust, helping them achieve their mission to reach 500,000 young people by 2026.
The year long collaboration will see the RAF Charitable Trust become Headline Funder of Industrial Cadets and EDT delivered Key Stage 3 Experience Days, which are designed to inspire and engage young people, encouraging a positive attitude towards STEM subjects.
The support of Industrial Cadets is further strengthened by the accreditation of 2 of their key programmes, ‘Road to RIAT’ and ‘BlastOff to RIAT’, delivered by Smallpeice Trust, which will mean a further 26,000 students will receive their Award, leading to prize winners attending the Royal International Air Tattoo.

The 5% Club
Our “Partnership for Work Readiness” with The 5% Club aims to influence employers to increase their engagement with education and deliver high quality work readiness/placement Industrial Cadets programmes at all levels, but with a Platinum level focus.
The 5% Club is a dynamic movement of employers committed to earn & learn as part of building and developing the workforce they need as part of a socially mobile, prosperous and cohesive nation.
The Club exists to help its members and all employers increase further the number, quality and range of earn & learn opportunities across the UK.
